Who hasn’t
dreamt about going to Rhodos for their vacation? We don’t know about you, but we
often dream about this tropical destination. To help you plan your next

Climate:
One of the
most important things to consider before travelling to a new destination is the
climate. This, for example, dictates what you must pack. Rhodos has a very
warm climate so you do not need to bring heavy clothes. Lighter clothes like
shorts and T-shirts will work just fine. You might want to bring one pair of
jeans for those evenings when you go out to a nice restaurant, but other than
that you will be fine with summer clothes.
If you are
travelling to Rhodos in the winter the temperature will be around 12 degrees
Celsius, so pack accordingly. Of course, you should always be ready for the
occasional rain shower.
Hotels:
There are
plenty of hotels on Rhodos, but if you are travelling here in the middle of
summer you might want to book your accommodation in advance. Rhodos just so
happens to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, especially
during the summer. Therefore, all accommodations quickly fill up.
Then what
about the standards of the hotels? Most of the hotels have a high standard, but
of course, a simple rule always applies. You get what you pay for. If you pay
more money, of course, you will get a nicer hotel. For those of you on a
budget, Rhodos has plenty of hostels where you can stay for cheap. Most of
these also offer a kitchen where you can cook your own food.
Activities:
Since Rhodos
is a very popular tourist destination there are a lot of things to do here. Most people come here to lay on the beach, soaking up the sun, but that is not a must.
Rhodos actually has a very interesting history with multiple world-class
museums for you to visit. If you would like to do something a bit more
interesting, Rhodos also offers very nice scuba diving. You can also learn how
to scuba dive on one of the islands diving academies.
If none of
the activities above tickle your interest, you can still find things to enjoy
here on Rhodos. There are, for example, multiple hikes for you to enjoy. The view when you reach the top of that mountain is breathtakingly beautiful, there
simply is no other way to put it.
